Supervision

Professional supervision

Professional supervision is a requirement for training and CPD ( continual professional development) for those offering therapeutic services. Each of us offer supervision both in person and online for those working in our profession. This can be set up on a weekly fortnightly or monthly basis for individuals or groups.

Description
These supervision sessions typically last 50 minutes and they are held in our work setting or online. Initially a contract is drawn up between supervisor and supervisee to ensure that the supervisee’s requirements are understood and met.

Supervision is most often focused on clinical work but this will often include concerns about the work setting and child protection issues which are also considered. Our supervision aims to be both supportive and enriching, developing the skills and knowledge of the therapist.

Fees
The fees are the same as the clinical therapy i.e. £65 per session . Sometimes these are paid by the employer organisation, but this must be agreed when the initial contract is set up.
