Amanda Foster is an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years’ experience of working with adults, children, young people and their families. She has worked as a Senior Practitioner in Child and Adolescent Mental Health services and in a health team specialising in child development.  Amanda is currently a senior practitioner in the NHS, working in a Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team.  Amanda has also worked in Adult Mental Health.

Amanda has extensive experience of working with children, young people and adults with Autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), Developmental Co-ordination Disorder and Developmental delay.  She is a trained practitioner in Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Listening and Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance (Co-Op). 
Amanda is trained and experienced in parenting and has completed the Intermediate Certificate in Family Therapy. Amanda is a fully qualified practitioner in Sensory Attachment Intervention- this enables her to provide specialist services to families of fostered and adopted children. Amanda's experience in the complimentary areas of child health and child mental health enables her to assist children, young people and adults who may have a number of complex needs .
